The International Documentary Film Festival Ji.hlava is screening our Miri fajta! The premiere is planned on 31st of October at 5pm CET and the documentary will be available for the following week. The documentary will be followed by a debate on the next day, Sunday the 1st of November.
The audience will finally have the opportunity to see this long-awaited documentary, which will present them the birth of the first Romani sitcom and more importantly the stories of people surrounding it.
The documentary will compete in the prestigious section Czech Joy, which represents not only the selection of best Czech documentaries, but also a celebration of the diverse range of new topics and the adventurous spirit of cinematic expression. Therefore, it´s no wonder that exactly this movie made by directors Martin Chlup and Petr Kačírek was nominated and will participate in this competition.
To see the directors debate about the story and the making of Miri fajta, you can join the debate on Ji.hlava´s platform at 16.20 on the 1st of November. If the time is not suitable for you, the second debate will happen at 19.00 on the same day. The directors will then be joined by the the main actor, Robin Stria, and Jan Hubáček from Gnomon Production.
