Success in Jihlava: Martin Trabalík’s documentary “What About Petey?” took home two awards from the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival. In the “Czech Joy” section, it received a Special Mention and the Student Jury Award.
The film also excelled at the “One world” (“Jeden svet”) festival in Bratislava, winning the main award — the Czech-Slovak Human Rights Prize.
Its success extended far beyond the borders as well. At the Chania Film Festival in Crete, the film won the award for Best Feature Documentary.
You can currently watch the documentary in cinemas; a schedule of screenings is available on social media on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/whataboutpetey/
